Avoid hanging planning

Emphasizing that planning needs to be associated with planning and implementation to avoid hanging plans, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh suggested continuing to update these national sector plans into regional planning. The priority focus is on transport infrastructure, strengthening regional links.

On the basis of the master plan, it is necessary to proactively plan, invest in investment phases, mobilize resources from socialized capital, invite in survey, design, and make investment projects in the form of PPP.

It should be noted that the establishment of growth poles should be associated with the development goals of Can Tho with its function as the center of the region.

The regional development space needs to be associated with the system of industrial hubs. Deeply focus on developing marine space in association with marine economic development, in the immediate future is the coastal road infrastructure system, seaports, and logistics system.

Localities need to pay attention to projects that have been included in the list of regional planning, speeding up the preparation process so that they can be disbursed as soon as capital is allocated. With expressways, seaports need to be pushed earlier.
